Brief:
Initiate the idea, source partnerships and negotiate terms for licensing arrangements. Great Dixter House & Gardens is delighted to have formed a partnership with Tim Page Carpets to create sensational silk, made to measure, hand-knotted rugs. There are four designs, Great Hall, Solar, Yeomans and Parlour, all inspired by the Lloyd family Embroidery Archive of cushions and chairs at Great Dixter.
The Archive was created from the work Daisy Lloyd and her children produced during the 20th century, including her famous son, the gardener and gardening writer Christopher 'Christo' Lloyd.
These new rugs reflect the creativity and ideals that still form the life of the house, gardens and nursery at Great Dixter today.
